Sharny Russell’s Jazz Albums
Sharny is known in the industry as one of Australia’s top jazz artists. A “musician’s singer”, she is proficient in piano, voice, composition and arrangement, and has led bands and performed alongside the cream of the country’s top musicians for most of her life. A winner of the 2004 APRA Award, she has recorded on the ABC Jazz label as well as independently, including 2 classic albums with her good friend jazz guitar icon George Golla.
